Welcome to the RPL's Subject Guide for All Things Related to Web 2.0!

What is Web 2.0?  The term refers to a new collection of Internet based services, applications and tools that enables users to collaborate and share their information with one another.

Okay, but what does it have to do with me?  Well, have you always wondered what people are talking about when they say they have been blogging?  Or how about the comment, "Just post that document to the wiki?"  Or even, "let's meet up in Facebook."  We are constantly surrounded by these Web 2.0 services and the Regina Public Library wants to help you be a part of it by helping you tap into your creative side and enabling you to share your interests and opinions with the global world.

Listed below are three public presentations given by the very talented and tech-savvy Reference Librarians at Regina Public Library to help get you started on the Web 2.0 Revolution.  So sit back and enjoy!

1. Facebook

2. Blogs

3. Wikis

Note: We will be adding more topics to this page as we continue to develop these public presentations.  So make sure you check back with us or better yet, subscribe to this page's RSS feedP.S. If you don't know what an RSS feed is, you might want to start by checking out the information provided in the Blogs presentation.
